About us
The Lindsay-Strathmore Public Cemetery District is a Special District of the county of Tulare. The district includes the Lindsay and Frazier Valley Cemeteries. Tulare County governs the District Board of Supervisors, which appoints the Cemetery Board of Trustees. The District is financially supported by the charges for services rendered and the property taxes of the Lindsay and Strathmore residents.
The Lindsay Cemetery currently has approximately 28 acres in developed cemetery, 24 acres of land in orange groves, and approximately 1 acres of bare land, which can be developed as needed. This cemetery averages 130 interments & 5 interments in Frazier Valley annually. The Frazier Valley Cemetery in the Strathmore foothills consists of 2.7 acres and averages 5 annual interments.
